  1. Hey, I just started listening to your podcast and I’m really enjoying it. I’m new to Pathfinder, so it’s turned out to be very informative for me. As a primarily 2nd Ed player, I didn’t really like the D20 system all that much. But after checking out the Pathfinder Beginner’s Box, I found that Paizo really smoothed out the D20 system and made it look pretty fun. Also, I made a pic you guys can use as the cover for your podcast on iTunes.

Thank you both for this podcast. It’s a pleasure to listen to a podcast that discusses the play of the game rather than the design elements, the creators or the available products. Thank you for the focus of this podcast. It’s easily my favorite.

  3. Found you guys a while back and I dig the in-depth discussions. I can’t find an e-mail or other contact so I figured I’d put this here: I too have a podcast (www.chroniclespodcast.com) and I would love to do a double feature, so to speak. We can pick a Pathfinder topic, do the usual thing, and put the one episode up on both of our streams as a cross promotion bit. If you guys are interested, let me know.

If not, cool, you guys keep doing what you do šŸ™‚

      • Thanks!

We are part of the http://www.35privatesanctuary.com gaming shelf of podcast, so feel free to jump over, register on the message boards and join the discussions. You may find some other good podcasts there too, if you haven’t checked them out before.

I am intrigued by the idea of the crossover, we did something similar with 3.5 Private Sanctuary. Things are pretty hectic and in flux at the moment so finding time might be an issue (I got a job offer letter in my email right before my message that you left this post), so it might be a while before we could set something up.

In the mean time, I will check out your podcast as well! I am always looking for more to listen to and now that I have a 1.5 hr commute, that need for more just went up.

      • Awesome! I will check out 3.5 Private Sanctuary, good to know! And thanks for the tip about Episode 5, gotta figure out what went wrong … grr.

I usually aim for one episode every 2 weeks, and I have ideas in the can so recording schedule is quite flexible. šŸ™‚

Congrats on the job offer, by the way!

When might we get another podcast?
    I miss Sean & Barry.
You leave me feeling like a Firefly fan, yours has been my favorite podcast, have you faded away entirely?

  5. Mark Welch says:

Sean & Barry love your podcasts!! I’m 41 and enjoy Pathfinder since the beta testing days. With family and work it’s rough sometimes to get time to just play. Your podcasts are a great fix and fit into my commute to the office. I hope you get out to Gencon 2014. It would be cool to see your there and thank you in person. Keep up the great work!

    • Thanks Mark! That means a lot. Right now the priority has just been trying to get together enough to start the podcast back up and running again. We both loved doing it but living 2.5+ hrs apart makes it tough to get together and do. Comments like this definitely help put the fire back under me to get it going.

Honestly neither of us are likely to make GenCon, though we are both hoping to make PaizoCon next time (I live very close by now, so it should be easier… had to work this year though). We are both roughly the same age as you and have kids, wives and jobs that all put a ton of pull on our resources and time (as it sounds like you well know!), so it is tough to make gaming a big enough priority to make it a vacation that the whole family wouldn’t be taking part in. Still… it *would* be fun.

  6. ZombodyElse says:

    Still waiting Sirs.

Guys, I love your podcast but I need your help wrapping my mind around mass combat rules. Help! Please do this podcast.
